Note: To use this feature, your account needs to have over 100 Credits. You can import unlimited audiences without deducting credits.

1. Check Your Facebook Account Before Starting
Before proceeding with connecting and importing data from theAlita to Facebook Ads, you need to ensure the following conditions are met:
Your Facebook account is not restricted from advertising.
Access the following link to check account status: 👉 https://www.facebook.com/business-support-home/?landing_page=overview

Your Business Manager (BM) has an active ad account.

Prepare a suitable dataset to import Audience from theAlita.
Connect your Facebook ad account with the Dataset.

2. Connect Facebook Account with theAlita
Access: Your Customer Data > Your Facebook Datasets
Click the "Import Facebook" button.

A pop-up window will appear to connect your Facebook account.

Click "Continue" and "Save" to complete the connection process.





After successful connection, the system will display a list of Datasets and corresponding Business Manager names.

3. Select Audience to Import
Access the Social Data section on TheAlita.
Select an existing Audience or send a request for a new Audience.
Click on the detailed page to check the demographic information of the Audience, to ensure it matches your target audience.
4. Import Audience to Facebook Ad Account
After selecting the Audience, click "Import Facebook" (top right corner of the screen).

Select the Dataset belonging to the BM where you want to import Audience data from TheAlita.

TheAlita will import the data into your chosen Dataset and manage the imported Dataset in the "Upload Datasets" section within Your Customer Data.

Importing Audience to Dataset will automatically change the following statuses:
Active: Request to import Audience to Dataset.
Importing: Data is being pushed to the Dataset (waiting time varies depending on Audience Size).
Imported: Audience data has been successfully pushed to the Dataset. Simultaneously, theAlita will send you an email notification.

5. Accept Audience in Facebook Dataset
Approximately 15 minutes after the status changes to "Imported":
Go back to the Dataset section in Facebook Business Manager, or click "Name Dataset" for quick access in the "Upload Datasets" section.
In the Facebook Dataset, a request to review Custom Events will appear as shown in the image.

Click "Review" and confirm the Event from theAlita with the structure:
theAlita/theAlita/AudienceName




At this point, the process of connecting the account and importing Audience into the Dataset is complete. Wait 15 to 30 minutes, and the Dataset will display the Audience as shown in the image below.
